Wedding DJ's:
We have assembled specialist rigs to cater for the wedding sector compact yet able to handle the largest of venues whilst remaining unobtrusive and discreet. We use top quality Mackie and JBL sound systems enabling us to play at both ends of the volume spectrum without any compromise to the quality.
Weddings are very much a family affair and although we have the capability of running at high volumes this is rarely the case. Guest want to talk and dance without having to scream at each other and enjoy what is a very special day. We use our experience to gauge volume levels and make your event a pleasant memorable occasion.
Surround Sounds is a family run business with six rigs at our disposal, we do not subcontract bookings and everything is managed in house assuring continuity and guaranteed quality. Equipment can be scaled to your requirements so if you are looking for discreet or a full on disco we can help. |

What do you need and what does it cost?
This question is the main contributing factor why we do not publish a fixed price lists on our website as there are other circumstances than can influence the final cost. Our generic quotation assumes you are looking for an evenings cover starting from around 8.00pm, concluding 12.00am and the function room is on the ground floor. Additional factors to consider are:
- Do you require an early installation as setting up later would be inappropriate?
- Do you require background music during the wedding banquet?
- Do you require radio microphones for speeches?
- Do you require longer cover than four hours? (Not including installation and removal)
- Would full cover be a better solution? (Early installation with DJ on hand all day)
When gathering quotations for your event keep your initial enquiries specific to times, location and number of guests and if they stray from that get them to re-quote. This will allow you to make qualified comparisons between Mobile Disco suppliers. If there is a big difference in prices being quoted then this is generally down to either the level of experience of the DJ, standard of equipment or a combination of both.
Ensure your chosen DJ has testimonials that can be validated and make sure you get the name of the DJ covering your event as some agents will simply farm out gigs to the lowest bidder. You can view all our DJ profiles by clicking here.
We hold memberships of recognised bodies such as:
- NADJ (National Association of DJ’s)
- MU (Musicians Union)
- FSB (Federation of Small Business)
These are all a good indication to the level of professionalism the company aspires to and are rarely taken up by the casual or amateur DJ. |
